This leaf-shaped piece is created from a stretched slab, and then shaped and shaved gradually to achieve its organic lines. This translates into a different shape and line every time. The glaze work is built up by applying each color or glaze, one at a time, until the entire piece is covered, giving the glaze an enamel-work like appearance.
